What is collected, and why

Your wallet is your account. There is no email and no password, and the interface asks for no personal details. Four kinds of data are handled, and each one exists because a control or a feature needs it.

  • Your approximate location. Taken from network data attached to your request by the hosting platform, at country and region level. It is used to apply the blocks on the restrictions page and to detect a proxy or a hosting provider address. It is written into a short lived cookie so the interface can explain the decision to you.
  • Your wallet address. Public by nature. It is used to screen against sanctions lists, to record your acceptance of these documents, and to show you your own positions. Screening results are recorded with the address, the verdict and the time.
  • Your sign-in. Signing in means signing a one-time message with your wallet. The sign-in service checks the signature, keeps an account holding the wallet address that signed, and keeps a session so you stay signed in. The signature proves you control the wallet. It is not a transaction and moves nothing.
  • Request data. The RPC relay logs the usual server information for rate limiting, at 120 reads a minute per address.

Where it is stored

Your account and your session are held by Clerk, the sign-in service listed below, on the operator's behalf. Your acceptance record, your acknowledgement of the pre-trade disclaimer and the screening log are stored in your own browser. Clearing your browser storage removes those, and you will be asked to accept again. The operator does not hold a copy of them today. That will change before any real-value trading is offered, because an acceptance the operator cannot produce is not much use to either side, and this notice will be updated and re-versioned when it does.

What is on chain

Every transaction you sign is public, permanent and outside anyone's control, including ours. It cannot be edited or deleted by us or by you. Consider that before you connect a wallet that is linked to your identity.

Cookies

The location cookie holds the decision made at the edge and is valid for thirty minutes. It is readable by the page so the interface can tell you why the trading flow is open or closed. Signing in adds session cookies set by the sign-in service, which keep you signed in and are needed for sign-in to work. There is no advertising and no analytics in this build.

Your rights

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection. Data kept in your own browser can be removed by clearing site data. For your account record, for anything else, and for a copy of what is held, use the contact address once one is published. On chain data cannot be erased by anyone.
